Training

ECAM Trainer

Real ECAM procedures, worked as a crew. Take the PM or PF seat, make the FCTM’s calls at every stage, and work the failure on the E/WD, the SD and the panels. The trainer plays the other pilot.

  1. PMRead and do the ECAM, crosscheck the guarded controls, ask before you clear.
  2. PFFly and command: take the radios, confirm, call STOP ECAM and CONTINUE ECAM.
  3. iAn instructor beside you explains each system as you go. Hide it whenever you like.

Single failures

One system fails and one ECAM procedure deals with it. The place to learn each system's alert, its actions and its STATUS.

Dual failures

Two of a kind lost together: two hydraulic systems, both generators, both engines. Fewer resources and longer procedures, with more to weigh at STATUS.

Checkrides

A second failure arrives while you work the first. Reset the master light, finish the procedure in hand, then take the next alert.

Every procedure here is the FCOM's, line for line, as drawn in our ECAM episodes, with the FCOM units it comes from listed at the end. Timings are shortened: you don't wait 10 seconds for an agent or 30 seconds for a fire to go out.
